Arizona F Lee faces ‘super extreme’ DUI charge

Arizona forward Ira Lee, expected to have a contributing role with the Wildcats basketball team this season, was charged with “super extreme” driving under the influence of alcohol, then released Sunday morning.The 20-year-old also was charged with failing to yield at an intersection and DUI as a minor following a traffic stop, according to the university. “Super extreme” DUI involves a blood alcohol content of .20 or higher.Police said he tested for a blood-alcohol level of .215 after he was stopped at 1:22 a.m. Sunday. Among the four tiers of DUI severity — standard, extreme, super extreme and aggravated — super extreme ranks third.
