LSU RB Provens faces rape charge

LSU running back Tae Provens has been charged with rape in Baton Rouge, La.He was arrested Wednesday and booked on a third-degree rape charge, The Times-Picayune reported. The alleged attack occurred Sunday morning at an on-campus apartment at LSU.Provens played in two games for LSU in 2018, his freshman year, but he entered his name in the transfer portal on March 21.In the arrest report, university police detail how the woman and a friend went to Provens’ apartment and the woman asked to use the bathroom. She told police Provens followed her into the bathroom.She said she blacked out but remembers that he peeled off her clothes and sexually assaulted her, at which time she said “no” three times but he continued, according to the police report. When she was able, she got dressed and left the room.
