Report: Penguins send Sheary, Hunwick to Sabres

The Pittsburgh Penguins are shipping left wing Conor Sheary and defenseman Matt Hunwick to the Buffalo Sabres, according to a TSN report.The Penguins are set to receive a conditional fourth-round pick in 2019 in return.The move clears up $5.25 million in cap room for the Penguins.Sheary, who turned 26 earlier in June, signed as a free agent in 2015 and has 48 goals and 45 assists in 184 career games with Pittsburgh.Hunwick, 33, joined the Penguins as a free agent last season and finished with four goals and six assists in 42 games. The 11-year veteran will be joining his sixth team.
